The Nawab of Dir postal bus service or Nawabi transport service began regularly in 1932. It became famous as the “postal buses” due to their distribution of mail during the old times. One bus would come from Bara ( Presently Samarbagh) towards Warsak and returned in the evening. Meanwhile, two buses would start traveling in opposite directions on the national highway in the morning. They would cross each other around Rabat in the afternoon and reach their destinations after sunset. This means both buses would complete a one-way journey throughout the day . On the bus floor, there were average seats, and on the berths, VIP passengers would sit. On the roof, passengers would sit with their feet hanging on both sides.
